SHATTER MESSIAH have announced that the release date of their new album “God Burns Like Flesh” will be October 29th.
In conjunction with the release SHATTER MESSIAH will be premiering a new song off of their forthcoming album “God Burns Like Flesh” Monday Oct. 1st The band plans to post one new full length song (and a number of preview clips) off the album each week at www.myspace.com/shattermessiah to be heard in streaming audio. The First song to premiere will be Idolater. (clips of GBLF, Pathway, and Stripped of Faith)

Never to Play the Servant North American Release!!!
On April 24, 2007, DCA Recordings will release the critically acclaimed debut album by SHATTER MESSIAH, "Never To Play The Servant." The album was released last year in Europe, and had only been available as an import outside the continent. Now metal fans in North America will be able to experience SHATTER MESSIAH's viciously intense mixture of hardcore, classic thrash, power metal, and goth. "Never To Play The Servant"'s 14 tracks teem with this lethal combination of over the top aggression and melodic skill, resulting in such stand-out tracks as "Crucify Freedom," "Frailty," and the blistering title track.

Robert will be heading out to Ohio April 10th to do 3 Special Live Dates with SHATTER MESSIAH. He will then enter Smiley Sound Studio to finish pre-production and track drums for the bands sophomore release entitled "God Burns Like Flesh" Which will be released on Dockyard1 Records.
SHATTER MESSIAH will also be hitting the road this Summer to tour The USA and Canada with the Finnish Goth Metal Band TO/DIE/FOR. Be sure to check the live dates page for all the dates as they come in.
In other news Robert just returned from the studio where he recorded 4 tracks for Steve Burrows that will be released later this year. Check back soon for more news!

SHATTER MESSIAH have announced the name of what will be their sophomore release. "God Burns Like Flesh" (which is tentatively scheduled for release this fall) will mark the bands second release on Dockyard1 records and will fuse the scattered musical influences of the band members backgrounds in order to focus more on the original sound hinted at on their first release "Never to Play the Servant."
SHATTER MESSIAH will continue to promote "Never to play the Servant" with a number of summer appearances including the Chicago Powerfest and will enter Guitarist Curran Murphy's newly relocated Smiley Sound Studios in the coming weeks to begin recording guitar tracks. More details coming soon.

Bob and Ron are both Ok and un-injured after being involved in a car crash on the way back from Ohio yesterday while driving through New York. They spent 10 hours in NY waiting for a tow truck and returned home to Massachusetts around 9am this morning.

Just confirmed. Robert will be travelling out to Ohio, March 10th for a week, to record the next Shatter Messiah album, rehearse with the band and take band photos.
